Minyerri School is a comprehensive P to Year 12 school that provides education and school based programs (including VET Training and Family as First Teachers) to approximately 210 Aboriginal students in Minyerri Community.

Our languages are Kriol, English and Alawa, in that order.

We have an Indigenous Language and Culture Program designed and implemented by our local Indigenous staff and community cultural advisers that is taught weekly to all students.

We provide a balanced curriculum in line with ACARAs standards and believe that our learners can achieve the highest outcomes through a safe, positive and respectful environment of collaboration and community partnerships.

Our programs are complimented by strong partnerships with the EON Foundation, Deadly Science, Whitefriars College, Alawa Council and many more.
